The western arm of Koei Tecmo just reached out to share the latest English trailer and the western release date of the Fairy Tail JRPG in development at Atelier studio Gust.

The game will release in the west on March 19, 2020 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

This confirms that the game will launch day and date in the west and in Japan.

It's great, but it's not easy. Most Japanese developers work on limited budgets for this kind of stuff and often they can't secure a publisher in time to start the process.

Of course, big ones with in-house localization teams like Koei Tecmo and Sega have an easier time, but budgets are still pretty limiting.
