Fakespot?

Not gonna list the link. I don't want to inadvertently screw something up for anyone. But if true and accurate somehow, this site would be a boon. I was looking up some shooting headgear for ear protection (I don't shoot; I want something to protect my ears and mind for the mornings when my wife begins to rant for hours), and someone had commented on a question, mentioning this site in his/her comment. Never heard of it. Looked it up. The analyzer was pretty straightforward and fast.

Thing is, can't these smaller businesses still use friends and family to leave positive comments for a product on Amazon and other outlets? Familiar with this site (Fakespot) at all? Do you trust the data they're feeding back?
