Some people aren't in a rush to get it when they can wait and get it when its released on the PS2 later on. There's plenty of upcoming PS2 games to hold them off till then.

I doubt the PS2 version will sell much more than the GCN if at all.

These Most Wanted lists aren't the best barometer for sales interest, after all the GCN version was listed in the top 3 for some time.

You know, maybe we can have one of these after E3, but until then, aren't the topics almost identical every time? The lists don't change that much.

We'll get some comment about Wanda being ahead of Zelda, something about the PS2 RE4 and how people shopuld just buy the Cube version (plus replies) and plenty of people saying the survey isn't that idicative of sales.

I'm not basing the possiblity of RE4 outselling on these charts. I'd base it more on the sales dropoff from the exclusive RE0 to RE4. It's obvious that people are waiting, and considering that most of the RE fanbase is still on the PS2 it'll fit right in.

I wouldn't mind if it came out and sold 500k-600k on the PS2 (for Capcom's sake anyway), but seriously I doubt that's going to be the case.

Many people will already have played the GCN version.

RE0 had slightly higher sales at this point because it was released during the winter shopping season.

By December 2005, Japan is going to be ramping up for PS3, this is a case of way too little way too late.

Yeah, that's why I think sales have been so low in Japan for the passed year. Nintendo needs to price the Japanese system at U.S. levels to raise sales again.

In 2 weeks RE0 had sold 231,946 units, in 2 weeks RE4 has sold 174,000. RE4 has yet to even outsell RE0's first week sales. I think the PS2 version can do atleast 400k overall.

Either way not a huge swing.

Japanese gamers sucks. Rumble Roses and Dynasty Warriors are both mediocre games and why wait for an inferior and later version...

I guess the game's not on their most wanted (or their most wanted isn't really wanted too badly), if they can hold off. But seeing as how the Cube is so expensive, it's a little more understandable; 100$ Cube and game versus 220$ Cube and game. That seems ridiculous.
