Looks awesome, glad i recently updated my PC. Will Play.

Damn, I've got get started on making a new computer soon. The music was awesome for this trailer. And it was a good mix of scenic shots with explosions. Looked amazing.

I can't wait for this game! Oh just a heads up we got an e-mail at work yesterday...GameStop is getting an exclusive version of FarCry 2. 3 hours of extra in game content with 6 new missions, a full fold out map and exclusive packaging. Same cost as the normal version...just a heads up to those who might care about that kinda stuff.

God damnit, why do they do this shit? Now I feel like I'll be getting screwed unless I buy it at GameStop... Do you know if the same deal works online?

Either way I'd certainly hope it would released as DLC soon after release (damn well better be free DLC).

No clue..I would assume so at least.

I'm pretty excited for this game. This will be the first of these types of really open shooters I've played, with my shitty computer and all.

Anyway just read this on wiki: "A dynamic weather system has been added that varies the weather based on the players ability - if the player is doing exceptionally well the sky will be clear and sunny, but if problems arise the sky will become dark and stormy."

Can't say I like that idea. I'd rather the weather just be the weather. I don't want it to be sunny all the time just because I'm doing good. I want to kick ass in a downpour as well.

My new rig will eat this game for breakfast. Suck it down, lesser gamers. I have joined the upper-echelons of the elite gaming society, and FarCry 2 will be one of many of my sacrifices to the greater Gods.

what are your specs?

They're pretty mediocre, actually. Not worth listing. I guess it should be able to run FarCry 2 decently.

Considering it runs well on the 360, anyone with an 8800 card or better should be able to tear this up like nothing.

Awesome trailer, just like the other trailers, but I'm still skeptical that the gameplay will live up to the promise of those trailers. So much can go wrong in open-ended games. Huge worlds with next to no direction are not always guaranteed successes.

Hopefully I'm wrong, and the game kicks ass!

Stay tuned for the inevitable shit-ass, bugridden PS3 port.

Bitter? At least they fixed most of the PS3 problems their games had.

They were doing the same thing to the PC there for a good while. Maybe that has changed with the release of Assassin's Creed, but not holding my breathe yet.

Looks good but I am still hesitant on this game.

awesome trailer. Game looks and sounds pretty excellent. I'm thinking of going to that PCGamer lan thing in MA just to get a copy for cheap!

considering how the devs were seemingly enthusiatic about the Playstation3 hardware a few months back, that's the version I'm most excited to see

...I am picking this up on PC though....unless the PS3 version turns out to be godly or something

This game and engine was initially built for the PC exclusively. It was later ported over to consoles. So hopefully it should run fine on PCs.

Games like these make me wonder why Ubisoft gets so much hate.
Because for every awesome game that Ubi Montreal releases, there's 4 absolute pieces of crap from their other studios

Yea, they have started showing their PC ports a little more respect these days, which hopefully continues.

Activision is trying to set some kind of record for most despicable publisher, or something

Activision just runs too much like a company who listens to their shareholders. If they can't see money or a franchise out of it they won't do it.

Agreed. But Far Cry 2 is a PC game, getting console ports.
