Fatekeeper Annouced by THQ Nordic. First Person Action RPG for PC. EA in 2026

Looks nice. Combat reminds me of Dark Messiah with all that physicality, slow downs and barrel throws, which is a very good start.

Awesome looking art style. Too bad it's an action RPG instead of a more detailed RPG. But as per Tinto's steam link, it has this pic to show character/inv.

Mad lads demo'ing the game on keyboard and mouse. I can see the comparisons with Dark Messiah although I doubt it leans into that game's amazing physics as heavily. It reminds me more of what I wanted Avowed to be.

Hm? I think it makes sense to show and play the game on keyboard and mouse since this is a first person game. I personally wouldn't play something like that on a controller, so I don't see anything crazy here lol

I'd also echo the gameplay from the trailer definitely gives off some Dark Messiah of Might and Magic vibes...which I'm all on board for if the execution is there.

Looks amazing, I'm not sure if I'll be able to run it with by 6700 XT but I'll try it for sure, it wait for a upgrade when it finishes it's early access

Goddamn. About time we got a PC exclusive that takes advantage of hardware. There should be way more of these. Looks incredible
Are we sure this is a PC exclusive? Might be that it only mentions Steam because of the early access and might come to console once it reaches 1.0? 🤔

In any case yeah, the game looks great in the trailer.

Gotta give props to UE5 for making janky games look better in trailers, thats for sure, but time and time again has proven that these rarely end up above good. Wishlisted tho.

I'm starting to realize I like a lot of THQ Nordic titles for some reason. They're not even the same genre or developer, but they seem to publish AA games with heart or character.

OMG, rewatched it at home and this looks amazing. I'm not big on FP but will make exceptions when they look this immersive. Almost like a medieval version of ILL's tech.

I feel like every game involves the player fighting either an alien or a medieval monster.
So what do you want then? Humans? Zombies?

This is perfect. The game looks very promising.
Looks like UE5 though so it'll be interesting to see performance….
