Dammit! You stole my answers!

Sonne is seriously one of the best videos ever. I also like Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box, Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun, Foo Fighters - Everlong, Times Like These, Big Me, and Monkeywrench, Brand New's video for The Quiet Things That No One Knows, umm, what else?

Probably my most favorite videos are all of Aqua's "fun" videos: Barbie Girl, Doctor Jones, Lollipop, My Oh My, Cartoon Heroes, and Bumble Bees.

Nirvana- Heart Shaped Box
Soundgarden- Black Hole Sun
Green Day- Walking Contridiction
N.I.N.- Closer

I got more that I can't think of now. I'll get back to you.

The New Pornographers - All For Swinging You Around
Blur - Coffee & TV
Foo Fighters - Big Me
Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight
Beck - Where It's At
Beastie Boys - Sabotage
Journey - Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) just for the cheesiness of it.

Yeah totally man, it showed that, like, Metallica were staying true to their underground roots, dude. My favourite part was when Hetfield rocked back and forth yelling into the mic.

2:40 into the video (Mein teil), what do you see? Cause I see something I don't want to.

yeah that is supposed to signify her losing her innocence (hence the wings being torn) but yeah some of the visuals are a bit....."suggestive"

I have plenty of songs I like, but when it comes to the video and song as a whole, there was that one.......I forgot the name. I think it was Peter Frampton or David Bowie who sang it, it was a really slow dark synthesized song, and the video was animated, it looked kinda like Heavy Metal style animation and it had a really dark post-apocalyptic desert setting.

......something about a Machine I think? Does anyone know the video I'm talking about, it's old 80's video? I've got to d/l this somewhere.

Can't believe no one has posted about any Smashing Pumpkins video....

Stand Inside your love. Adore, Tonight Tonight...

Sigh...

EDIT.. Forgot Queens of the Stone Age with Go with the Flow.

Dan

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Johnny Cash - "Hurt"
Bjork - "Human Behavior"
Massive Attack - "Special Cases"

Skid Row - I remember you: In the end where the man, broken and probably homeless, threw the picture of him and his girlfriend into the fire was very moving.

Guns n Roses - Estranged, Don't Cry, November Rain. A trio of great videos with November Rain being the only one I understood. What the hell was going on in Estranged and Don't Cry? Dolphins swimming down the Sunset Strip? eh? But still lots of fun to watch.

Oasis - Champagne Supernova: Trippy video, Union Jack Guitar, Liam with a beard. Great stuff.

Richard Marx - Hazard: This video was a two parter. Richard Marx is being accused of murder in the first video because some girl he was knocking died. But I guess she really got around in that podunk town of hers. In the second part of the video which was released maybe a couple of weeks later we find out how she died. Forgot who killed her or if she committed suicide.

I agree with many videos mentioned here, but I have to add U.N.K.L.E feat. Thom Yorke - Rabbit In Your Headlight. Russian bloke is walking through a tunnel, mumbling and cursing, getting hit by passing cars but getting up over and over.

Also, I like many Moby videos, like the one with the babyband, the eye, the austronaut with all the cameos and many others.

Bloodhound Gang's music videos are hilarious - Ballard of Chasey Lain, Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny, Fire Water Burn, Why's Everybody Always Picking On Me, Along Comes Mary, etc. I hear they make them up themselves, unlike a lot of bands.

Dead

well not really...yet

Never saw that UNKLE video. Awesome, thanks for pointing it out. UNKLE rules.

Better to bump this than to post an unneccessary new thread. I grew up without cable or broadband, so it's only now that I'm at college that I can watch most of these.

Anyway, the All is Full of Love video is brilliant. And that Hurt video... damn, I'm not even a huge Cash fan, and it still makes me mist up a little.

Hey Zombie, I've been watching that vid every since you first posted it and have been meaning to ask: who are they? Where are they from? I totally love that song... what album is it from? Can you, or anyone else, make any recommendations? I've never heard of them before, and I want to know more.

They are the almighty Rammstein. It is from the album Mutter. You can purchase a DVD with all of their music videos and some live perforances for around 10 dollars. It is called Lichtspielhaus.

I recommend you purchase all of their albums. I rank them as such:

1. Mutter
2. Sehnsucht
3. Herzeleid

They have a new album coming out shortly.

Pretty well anything by Soundgarden, although Jesus Christ Pose and Burden In My Hand are my personal favourites.

Public Enemy - Night of the Living Baseheads (the full 10 minute version).
Kid 'n Play - Gettin' Funky.
Faith No More - Midlife Crisis, Last Cup of Sorrow.
