The amount of money going through that casino, if the numbers are right, would make some Vegas properties (or even groups of properties) blush even on an annual scale, and those Vegas casinos aren't getting by on patrons playing $5 a hand blackjack like this casino (supposedly) is.

In short, that $4B in a single month is not that far off from what the Vegas Strip casinos make collectively from gaming in an entire year. This casino screams 'FRONT" in 100 foot high letters with neon lights.
A lot of times, Casinos can act as fronts for some illegal transactions.

The person wants to make a payment on the down low. They make the payment under the guise of a gambling loss.

Unusually high bets at low profile casinos are a red flag.
Thanks guys. Wow seems big

Ooops.

You'd think when it's about millions and billions, people would think stuff like this through.

"This is all....confidential...right?"
"Oh yeah man we've got lawyers to take care of this stuff, don't worry about it."

1 year later:

*picks up newspaper*
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh SHIT."

A movie is not going to be enough time to capture all the interesting bits. We're gonna need a 7 season HBO series

You replace Trump with Clinton in this post and is it really that different from the raving lunatics chanting "Lock her up" at the RNC?

The difference here is there appears to be some actual substance, vs a never-ending GOP game of pin the tail on the donkey on the other side.

Update: There has been an arrest and there is a suspicion of human trafficking and labor violations after the death of a Chinese worker.

FBI Makes Arrest in Connection With Saipan Casino Construction

Bloomberg said:
“The FBI conducted a search and made an arrest in response to the recent death of an individual working at the construction site of the Imperial Pacific Resort,” Michele Ernst, a spokeswoman in the FBI’s Honolulu field office, said in an email Friday. “The investigation is related to allegations of a federal violation of the workplace visa system, including reports the company was systematically harboring individuals who are out of status and in violation of federal statutes."

The bureau’s statement comes after a legislator and local residents said FBI agents and local law enforcement on Thursday visited an office used by Imperial Pacific, staying for several hours and blocking access to the building.

Local media reported on March 23 that a 43-year-old Chinese national had fallen to his death from a scaffold on the nearby site of the company’s planned casino resort, which will replace a temporary facility currently in use.

Imperial Pacific, which is listed in Hong Kong and controlled by mainland Chinese entrepreneur Cui Lijie, didn’t respond to email and phone requests for comment on the FBI statement. In a stock exchange filing Friday, Imperial Pacific said "neither the Group nor any of its staff has received any investigation notice from any of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation or government departments."

The FBI "routinely partners with federal agencies when there are reports of widespread and systematic human trafficking within the labor sector," Ernst said.

Imperial Pacific has been sued multiple times since it opened the gaming facility in late 2015 on Saipan, including a lawsuit in December by a former executive accusing it of violating money-laundering rules. In mid-March, a district court judge for the territory scheduled a settlement conference for the case, Marianas Variety reported.

Chaired by Mark Brown, a former executive in President Donald Trump’s Atlantic City casino business, Imperial Pacific has assembled a group of high-powered former U.S. political figures as directors or advisers.

It has attracted attention in the gaming industry for posting per-table revenues in Saipan that are far in excess of those at the largest resorts in Macau, Asia’s gambling capital. The company has said those volumes are accounted for partly by Chinese high-rollers who make the five-hour trip to the island to bet millions of dollars at a time, and that it complies with all relevant anti-money-laundering and financial reporting rules.

Fuck me, on top of everything else, Trump may be involved in fucking human trafficking? Jesus Christ.

Fuuuuuck

So is there actually a link to Trump, other than the head guy once knew him? The FBI might be investigating money laundering just because it's illegal not as part of some Trump investigation. They do other things I believe.

This can only end in Christopher Steele playing a high-stakes poker game against Woolsey to force him to spill the beans, right?

Keep in mind that he also walked in on underage Miss Teen Universe contestants, unannounced, while they were naked and vulnerable in their locker rooms, and while he had control and power over their futures and reputations.

He called it a "perk" of the job as owner.

Keep in mind Paris Hilton was 12 when Trump first met her.

I don't think so, based on what's out there.

The only correct answer is that it's unknown.
But there is a proven link to a DNC chair who endorsed Hillary in 2008 right? So this can be directly tied to Hillary. Its probably where she is hiding all that Benghazi money.
People really need to keep thinking critically even, or especially, when data supports their existing hypothesis

Pretty much. Can Trump pardon himself? Even when he leaves office he will be decimated by these types of financial crimes.

Pretty sure he can't just blanket pardon himself against all future indictments. One way or another this orange piece of shit is going down.

I know you can never say never, but I highly doubt it'll ever happen. Even if it all closes in, I can't imagine they'll ever actually allow the full arrest of a President. Most likely, it'll be like Nixon again. He'll be forced out behind closed doors and the party will have to sort out the fallout

The party actually respected Nixon. Rank and file Republicans would probably be almost as happy as Democrats to see him arrested at this point.

But guys, WHAT ABOUT HILLARY'S "PIZZA DISCOUNT" EMAILS?
A former DNC chair who endorsed Hillary against Obama is on an 'advisory' committee for the casino. It's likely, nay probable, that the pizza discount emails came from the secret email servers - codename Benghazi - stored in this very casino.

Fuck me, on top of everything else, Trump may be involved in fucking human trafficking? Jesus Christ.
This has been mentioned before - interesting it is coming up again. I think the depth of corruption this guy is involved in will blow people's minds when it all drops.

Well, of course he can't pardon himself.

There's some fear that, if Trump is indicted and impeached, Pence might pull a Gerald Ford though.

Maybe before yesterday's signing gifpocalypse. Pence has been in soul burning hell for two months. His revenge could be both trivial inaction and patriotism.
