Although they've always been technically behind the EA crew visually, at least you know artistically they wont lay a turd like this next gen. Hopefully they'll have that level of grass detail at least. Im more excited what advances they're going to make with animation, physics and AI though.

These look like renders, and I don't mean that in a good way. They look lifeless and plasticky.

It doesn't help that they appear to be more detailed versions of the older shitty FIFA models -- see Trezeguet, who retains the "classic" FIFA lumpy bandy-legged troglodyte look they've cultivated for years.

Also, check out the grass in the first shot! That's not a football pitch, that's a nice wild grassy meadow somewhere. I'm not surprised Lukas Podolski's having a lie down, it looks rather pleasant on that overgrown patch.

eh, i actually think it looks awesome. yeah, the style is a bit strange, the players (including their uniforms) look like hey have been chiseled from a block of wood, but it looks neat IMO. the grass is overdone, but looks awesome.

maybe if i was a big footy guy i'd find something to bitch about, cause FIFA sucks compared to pro evo/we (so they say, i have no opinion on the matter)
