July is perfect! Snags people tuning in to check new episodes of the Stargates and Battlestar Galactica and gets them primed for the movie in September! Someone finally gets it!

Well, it would be better if they sandwiched it in between the two popular shows, or showed it after the two popular shows -- but any exposure is good exposure.

All showings are sold out, but search eBay for "serenity ticket" if you are really dying to go....depending on how popular your city is you might be able to score passes for as low as fifty bucks.

I might have an extra ticket for anyone going to the Miami screening.

Did the Caleb bad guy on Buffy also star on the Firefly series or is he just in the movie?

Maybe there's a chance that if the movie does decently well and the series gets decent ratings on Sci-Fi it might continue? If they can budget stuff like Galactica, surely they can budget Firefly, too....and if they had no trouble getting the cast together for the movie, I doubt that would be a problem, either.

The only issue I can see is if the movie really does wrap up the storyline and leaves no room for continuation.

He starred in the show also. Gina Torres, who appeared in Angel as Jasmine also was in Firefly. So was Adam Baldwin, Angel's Hamilton.

All in all, Joss Whedon seems a fan of recycling.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I'm sure the fucking around with Firefly didn't help his opinion, but perhaps if he can find some place to put it where it will be appreciated, I think he might come around. Especially since its evident he had *soooo* much more story to tell.

Don't forget that River also played a dancer in an Angel episode, though I can't remember the name.

He wasn't so much recycling as he was giving those actors roles to play so that they didn't go off and commit to something else while he was trying to resurrect Firefly.
