Yes, it will look for updates for all of your extensions when you upgrade to 4.0.Extollere said:Hi
If I upgrade to this, will it detect my previous add-ons and extensions? and if so will it give me the option to import them (at least the ones that are compatible)?
You could always just scale it yourself and follow the avatar size guidelines...vazel said:Does anyone else still get shit image scaling in Firefox? I was hoping they fixed it in 4.
Left is how the avatars look in Chrome, right is Firefox.

If you hit Alt + S you get the old History menu with the Recently Closed Tabs list at the bottom.enzo_gt said:Shortcut is useful. Hopefully there is some way to pin it as a button through an extension or something, I like being able to browse the history of recently closed tabs.
This is indeed a temporary solution! Thank you for this!vanty said:If you hit Alt + S you get the old History menu with the Recently Closed Tabs list at the bottom.
Greasemonkey and Stylish work on Firefox 4. Smooth Scrolling works fine for me, I don't think it's slow.brotkasten said:Page loading and scrolling feels slower in FF, but I need my plug-ins. GAF without smileys, user styles and YouTube Me isn't the same.
I found that using a Persona is a nice option, but there's a bug with the tabs.Morro! said:So, this is how it looks like on OS X.

Not officially, however, Minefield does have a 64bit executable. The only differences I've noticed are faster search bar queries (history from the awesome bar) and maybe page rendering.Medalion said:Is there a Firefox 4 64-bit for windows?
Have you tried adjusting the ClearType settings? In Windows 7, type "clear" in the start menu and you should see "Adjust ClearType text".Medalion said:k then, I was using the 32-bit version for a long time anyways, sure this will still be fine.
I do notice that, much like the IE 9, there is some blurriness to the fronts with that ClearType font
There's an extension to make it a clear button. I'm worried about the memory leaks though =/malfcn said:Hoping memory leaks are plugged. And not digging the thought of a big orange button.
And why a x64 for linux and not win?
Not even close, and don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise.zlatko said:Is this faster than Chrome?

Go to 'Bookmarks' and select 'Bookmark All Tabs'. Just save it anywhere (bookmarks menue, toolbar, whatever). Install FF4 and re-open that bookmark file with a single click. It'll take a little bit to download everything again if you are on a slow connection, but it won't be that bad.Andrefpvs said:Is there any way I can update from 3.6 without losing my open tabs? I have like 30 open right now...
I guess I could copy all the URLs to a text file, but yeah, is there a way?
Yep.Dreams-Visions said:so I assume it's the same as yesterday's?
