A month ago I popped up firefox one day... and all my bookmarks were missing. I was pissed, but too lazy to figure out what the problem was, and just ignored it.

Today, the same damn thing happened again. Whats going on? And is there any way to retrieve them?

My profiles switched up on me one time, I made a thread about it. But, that doesn't sound like your problem...

Start menu,run,firefox.exe -profilemanager,pick different profile.

Yeah,make sure Firefox is closed-ctrl alt delete-end task.

well the problem has nearly happened to me twice before. When firefox crasheds and doesn't close properly. It says that firefox is already running on a profile and I need to create another one. Don't click on anything when that happens....Just close it ctrl+alt+del find Firefox in processes and close that. Open up firefox again and everything is how it should be.
