this might be a really stupid question, but how do I get new windows to open as tabs instead? It bugs the hell out of me when I use tabs on purpose only to have links I click open new windows.

Is it possible to set to default that, if I click on a link, it automatically opens in a new tab?

How about when you click the "New Tab" button, is their any way for it to go directly to my home page instead of a blank page?

If you want it as default, use Tabbrowser Extensions. Otherwise wait till it becomes integrated, which it will.

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
so whats the deal with extensions and firefox itself, do they have the right to integrate the truely great extensions to the main platform?

I'm assuming the developers of the plugins knew this ahead of time, and would not mind assuming given credit somewhere.

The question is do they PLAN to do it?
Worthless to us, since we know about them, but a major plus to people who are either too ignorant or lazy to install plugins.

well, some of the extensions (pop up blocker, google tool bar) seem to have been added in the new build. Thanks a ton guys, I thought there would be an extension out there that did this, and it is going to make browsing the net much easier :D

While I am here, I have one more question. I think its really nice that firefox will tell you if you have new mail and all of that, but when you click check mail it wont actually open thunderbird. You have to have Thunderbird open allready in the background to use that stuff (as far as I can tell) is there anyway to fix this? It will let you compose mail without having thunderbird allready open, but not check it :(

When I click the Mail icon, it opens Thunderbird. I am not sure if I have an extension that does that. I have something called 'Launchy', not sure if that is responsible.

My tabs extension I use doesnt work for 1.0 :( Hopefully they release a new build of it soon that is supported... I hate opening new windows. Unfortunately, neither does the extension to close a tab by doubleclicking it (a feature that was thankfully copied from myIE2).

I open a new browser tab by right clicking right next to the tab of my current window, and it says "New Tab" and I click and bam, new tab
