Konami have released the first information on the upcoming Castlevania.
The first information on Konami's sequel to Castlvania: Aria of Sorrow has been revealed in the latest february edition of Electronic Gaming Monthly
The game is said to follow the same route of the GBA versions, where the storyline goes that the year after the events in Aria of Sorrow,Soma Cruz returns to fight against a cult that wants him dead because he did not fulfill his destiny to become Dracula.
A top down map will be displayed on the top screen, plus information on Soma's stats. After defeating boss characters, players will be required to use the stylus to draw a seal on the touch screen. If the drawing is not successful, you may have to fight the boss again as its health would restore.
Music composer Michiru Yamane will once again compose the music for the game, whereas prouducer Koji Igarashi is looking at ways to implement a wireless multiplayer mode.
The new Castlevania game is expected for a release this year, 2005.
