Just a tip: make sure the avatars are saved as .png to preserve transparency Alternatively you can copy/paste the original image link into GAF and it will work, too.

Yeah with my laptop being broken I've been doing stuff from my iPhone. Saved it first and noticed it being messed up. Used the link for the second attempt and it looks good.

Nonon is harder, since her picture is an horizontal rectangle instead of a square/vertical rectangle and thus harder to work with.

Size. If it is larger than the maximum allowed size (100w x 120h) it will automatically resize and lose any transparency.
