Can someone make this a "Stamp" on my current avatar? As in placed in the bottom-right corner somewhere, but visible.

I was thinking of a overlay transparency as another option, but I'm not sure it would "work" at all.

Hm... There's more space in the bottom left:

But if you really want it in the bottom right:

Can someone make this an avi for me? I'd like the trasparent background with everything in tacked on the pic besides the name at the bottom if it's not to much trouble? Thank you in advance as always http://i.imgur.com/3AQmK.gif[img]
Hope these are ok.

Could someone do me a solid and have a crack at sprucing up my half-assed avatar?

Sized properly, transparent background, cleaned up and facing the other way (ie the way my current avatar is facing).

You'd make me ever so happy.

I just have a quick question as far as removing backgrounds and stuff goes. What's the most efficient way to go about doing it? When I use the background eraser in photoshop, I generally get the same results as if I used the magic wand. Are there specific settings I should be using or is there another method altogether?

I normally make the selection I want to keep (or select the background and do an inverse) and use the "Refine Edge" button at the top to make adjustments and then mask it. I think I got advice from this thread to apply a feathering value between 0.0 and 0.5 to smooth out the edges a bit.

If the background is too complex for the magic wand to select then I'd go for the pen tool.

Thanks for the hints. Also, I can't believe I just figured out the magic eraser tool. XD
