That's exactly what Warner Brothers said when they saw the movie.
Can you tell me anything else about this...it just looks like a close up of someone's intestines and some shitty music....anything else to the site...

Nothing else yet. It's the chemical reaction photography that Aronofsky is going to use in some parts of the movie instead of CGI.

They showed the first ten minutes at Comic Con in addition to the trailer (that apparently still confuses Warner to the point where they don't know what to do with the movie) and it was awesome.

Basically it starts in 1500 where Jackman's character finds the Fountain of Youth for Weisz's character. In 2000 they are married and never aged a day. Then in 2500 Jackman's character is flying through space alone with the Tree of Life to some unknown destination.

What do you think the chances are?
From what I've read, very high. Warner Bros doesn't seem to have any intention of fucking with the movie itself, it's just a question of how the hell to market it.

I can't wait. I put this up to replace the Batman Begins screensaver.

Writer/director Darren Aronofsky follows up “Pi” and “Requiem for a Dream” with “The Fountain,” a mix of sci-fi, drama, and romance. “The Fountain” takes place over the course of 1,000 years and follows one man’s struggle to save the life of the woman he loves.

Darren Aronofsky on His Passion for “The Fountain:” “Why? Because it’s fun to watch conquistadors fight Mayans, and it’s fun to shoot guys into outer space floating around, so I wanted to do a little bit of everything.

Pretty extensive interview on the film...

I'll almost definitely see this.. I hope it gets a release date soon.

By the way, is Flicker dead? I assume so, but I hope it happens eventually.
