they did it once for FF8 tho, remaster not remake, and that once time i found FF8 group on FB because how salty they are when FF7 get a remake but 8 only get remaster
There seems to be some confusion here. You can find more about the GOG preservation program here:

IV isn't technically the best Final Fantasy, but it is absolutely 100% my favorite one. It's been a while since I played the DS version, but I think it has some of the improvements such as endgame party selection and the side dungeons.

I already own it on Steam, but I like what GoG is doing, so I'll probably grab it there too eventually.

Ports of 2 highly divisive DS remakes. A minimum effort remaster that i believe is based on the somewhat inferior PC version of the game. And FFIX

Nice combo

IX, other are trash.
This. The 3D Remakes are terrible with graphics that even PCs in early 1990s were able to surpass. It was made for the DS, so that's the reason but still, thrash.

FFVIII was shit. If you think differently - you're wrong.

FFIX is a masterpiece, I bought PS2 to play it, then I discovered I needed a PS1 Memory Card to save my game.

I was surprised to find out that GoG apparently also managed to get Warhammer: Dark Omen! They previously only had Shadow of the Horned Rat.

i got all memories of that games, last year, i was able to finally finish 3, i think i will have to play 4 once more.
i replayed it many times, and loss any motivation once i hit the moon, duh

I chose the worse time to start playing FFIX again. Decided to play the emulated PS1 OG on my phone with an ATB wait romhack. Save states are vital as I'm going to be playing most of it at work.
