Jon Stewart mentioned tonight how FOX News, unlike CNN/MSNBC, haven't bothered reporting on blogs, saying because they know it looks stupid. I dunno, I think they're afraid that a large chunk of the so-called blogosphere is devoted to discussing FOX News itself.

Rupert responds:

"We may want to experiment with the concept of using bloggers to supplement our daily coverage of news on the net," media baron Rupert Murdoch said in a recent speech to newspaper editors. Chief among the risks, he said, is "maintaining our standards for accuracy and reliability."

Yeah it's not unheard of for shorter people to do this. On the other hand, news organizations that strive for accuracy end up being less honest about their goals when they pull things like this.
