Damn, France really does like Nintendo. Two Nintendogs, three Mario games (with Strikers probably somewhere between 11 and 15)... Nintendo ought to treat them as a special market where they could grow their presence to make up for the relative lack of one in the UK.
 
According the French planning, next week we probably see Turino 2006 and Dragon Ball Z SuperSonic Warriors 2 on the top 10. May be Psychonauts ?

The french have good taste. The amount of GC software vs Xbox software and ds software vs psp software shows that those gaps are growing.

It's Mario Party 7. If the Xbox only received one more game before the end of this year, that game would probably be better than Mario Party 7.

Seriously, four DS games in the top 10 (with spots two and three) is fucking awesome. Nintendogs was probably more or less out of stock for the last two months in Europe and Nintendo now finally was able to ship another billion to Europe ;)
 
So currently it's looking pretty good for Nintendo in France, Germany and Spain, and a close race in UK right? Has there been hardware numbers for france ever?

500k for PSP till the end of 2005. At the end of November or so a french article estimated that DS sell through should be about 700 or 750k at the end of 2005 (but we don't know if that really happened, although it would fit the 3.5m DS for Europe quite well).

Well a lot of the currently junior members (me included) have been lurking since E3 2005, which is when the whole record gig was going strong.

I don't understand nintendo's problem in the UK. Why do they sell well to okay everywhere in europe except there?
