Here are the estimates for Friday's take:

1. The Grudge - $15,000,000
2. Shark Tale - $3,600,000
3. Shall We Dance - $2,650,000
4. Friday Night Lights - $2,550,000
5. Team America: World Police - $2,200,000
6. Ladder 49 - $1,675,000
7. Surviving Christmas - $1,450,000
8. Taxi - $1,160,000
9. The Forgotten - $1,150,000
10. I Heart Huckabees - $950,000

So... The Grudge is a big winner and Surviving Christmas is unsurprisingly tanking.

I don't want to see Sam do anything until more EDs or AODs or Spidermans come out.

I mean, seriously, have you guys seen Boogeyman?

Uh, considering it's not out, yet... NO.

It's not like Sam is actually making either The Grudge or Boogeyman, but it's nice to know he gets a piece of whatever they pull in!

You knew what I meant. I meant trailers, synopsises (synopsi?), that sort of stuff. It looks like Darkness Falls all over again. Well, not so much the story as the horribleness.

Seriously. More people need to see I <3 Huckabees.
My $5.50 is somewhere in that $950,000. I liked it, but it's not something many will enjoy. More than a few people in my theater left after 10-15 minutes and never returned.

Ben Affleck has become box office poison. Awesome.

Funny that in one commercial that I've seen: "Starring... James Gandolfini..... opening Friday"

Haha, poor Afflack.

Bad movie to get it out of the way of other seasonal movies.

Yep...they knew it would REALLY suck in comparison to the other Christmas movies, so they put it against nothing...and destroyed any holiday buzz period.

Why did they release surviving Christmas now? It hasn't even been Halloween yet.

It makes a better horror movie then Christmas movie. If this is what passes as a holiday movie in Hollywood, Jesus will smite us all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

Bennifer = BOX OFFICE POISON

Who keeps giving this douche roles? It's like Kevin Costner, but at least we know he's been funding some of his recent film abominations. But Affleck isn't bankrolling any of this crap coming down the pike, is he? Man, someone throw me a fucking bone here. PEACE.
