Now when it came to the HL iterations you may disagree. But I think everyone can agree that FLF:Classic (on Source) looks way better than DoD on Source.

As a HUGE FLF fan, I really can't wait! This is gonna be my GOTY for the year it comes out!

WOW! If I had a decent home computer, I'd be all over this. I loved FLF back in the day...that and AHL, though that was nowhere as good as it could have been (AQ2).

haha, Action Quake 2 was the motherfucking shit. i played that mod for years. my clan still played it until like a year ago...crazy. those were some good old days

What exactly is FLF? I never played the HL mod of it. I only played DOD. And yes, this does look pretty darn good. DOD:S should have come out months ago, and it still looks mediocre/poor.

Man...I LOVED FLF. Played it all the time.

I loved pulling out the pin on a gernade, and running straight for six guys on the other team. They'd shoot me down, but once I died, my hand would let go of the gernade..and BOOMM! +6 kills!

The wooden floor looks fantastic.

I'm thinking that wooden floor is actually from HL2's art property...the floor material has it's own reflections and such.. All of HL2's properties have been used well in this MOD.

I like this screen because of the materials on the 2 walls (one white wall on the left and the brown on the right). The bumpmapping on them looks great.

Haha, yeah, the nades in FLF are awesome. Back when I was still playing, alot of people would just wait around for nades to come flying in and jump on top of them getting massive points. Then they changed it around so how many points you got for doing that was proportionate to how many teammates were around you.

What was your FLF handle?

I used to play as "The Sanitation Worker" and there were a few other workers, we were all from the U of C comp sci department.

I then started playing as (null) after 1.3.

I played recently and didn't find many of the older clans...seen some new clan names I haven't seen before. Yeah I remember US.

I have it all setup on this PC, but whenever I want to play all servers are empty

I never played the original Day of Defeat, but I see that Day of Defeat: Source is eventually coming...What is the general concesus on DoD? I'm not sure if I got the HL2 package with DoD: Source in it, but I'd like to try it out.

This is one reason why I can't play for clans and such, I'm only to come on whenever. The usual server I go on was down, so I couldn't post that IP earlier. It's a server that's located in Texas I believe...but it wasn't up this afternoon.
