i was recently in LA and whilst burning around 'The OC' , i happened across this talk radio show. they were quite funny, nice banter and they took my call and we had a laugh.

but now im back in Finland and i dont have my Frosty and all my broadcasted media is in Finnish... finland is the country whose humour-zeitgeist is still stuck in the 60's.

do you guys know where i could get a webstream?

in addition, who else listens to the show and are they always entertaining? or was it a once off?

Talk radio is typically hit or miss unless you're into the political shows a great deal. I think the show you're talking about used to be on 97.1 fm, not sure now though.

The only guy who I think is consistently funny is Phil Hendrie. His station has a live feed thing, his timeslot is 7-10 pm PST.

sure, i see your point re politics, but the triplets are more into pop culture, and general bullshit.

they are funny.
im not into american 'low brow' political discussion, polarised debate about complex topics.

Yeah, it is 97.1 klsx fm. Their site doesn't have anything for a "listen live" thing, unfortunately.

I'm not sure about anything comparable at that time... the big ones during 11-3 are the last hour of Rush Limbaugh, then Dr Laura, so...

I love the triplets. Whenever I'm in L.A. I get stuck listening to 97.1 all day long. It starts off with Howard, creeps into the triplets, and then before I know it I'm mesmerized with the shit that comes out of Leykis mouth. And just for the hell of it here's a pic of Heidi's tongue:

Haha I love the triplets too. Been listening to them for years... Kinda stopped last semester though because I had to go to school during their show. Love them though. Used to listen to Leykis a lot too, but it just kinda gets old.

Phil Hendrie is the man. I used to listen to him all the time, but since 9-11 his bits to rants ratio shifted...though atleast his rants are typically entertaining.
