Frys, you need to open more of your fine retail establishments in areas that have the common denominator of being within 50 miles of me.

I think my dad has that 65" Toshiba... I don't feel like looking and confirming it but that DLP (which I helped him pick up) was around $2,100 not including tax. Blu-Ray looks like sex on it and PS3 games look even better. I game on a 32" LCD and going from that to a TV twice the size is amazing.

Warhawk is golden on it as well.

Anyone in the general vicinity of a Frys needs to pick up that 42 in. Panny plasma. I've been watching the prices of it online and their deal even exceeds those.

Does anyone know of anywhere you can pricematch Fryes? Preferably midwest stores...

I don't mean to bitch... but I don't see much content related to videogames in those ads.

I was hoping for a $19.99 Mass effect or Eternal Sonata or something.

See alot of complaints of the net about the DLP sets bulb burning out quickly. or is that a dumb user issue?

It's a rear projection issue, afterall they're basically a front projector mounted in a cabinet to be used from behind the screen.

Just like a light bulb, you can't be certain when they'll blow out. The projection market is shifting towards LED and Laser light sources because they never have to be changed, since they last the entire lifetime of the TV. Laser in paticular brings a lot of advantages to the table.

If you can, just wait a little longer to hear more about Laser and what the plans are for 2008. The Laser light source for DLP sets are a pretty big deal.

What the hell Klee? You're supposed to be on the DLP hating bandwagon. :)

I wonder how big it is from front to back. I wouldn't mind replacing my 65" Sony LCD projection with it. Thing is like 300lbs and 35 inches from front to back. I need some space savers.
