Forging fake posts on the internet today.
Selling fake passports tomorrow.
We all know how it goes.

Sorry, but they are coming...

I stopped giving a shit about optimizing when I accepted the fact that the work I put into making the money to buy it was enough. PCs are so easy to slap together and make work these days. When I upgrade, I'd rather spend time playing a game than tweaking for a few % gains. I guess for me the fun is in finding a way to optimize the system cost and design to get something I am happy with.

Full disclosure, I have been building PCs since the 90s and got to experience all the fun of unlocking chips with pencils, flashing bioses to the better GPU, and even playing IRQ roulette. Overclocking is not as much fun as things used to be.

Why do people fuck around with their pcs, if it’s working fine then leave it alone. If you really need to tweak something and you’re unsure then research the damn thing online before you do it. pissing around without fully knowing what you’re doing is a recipe for disaster.

The only time I ever did stuff like that was to flash the firmware in my dvd drive to make it all region and you bet your ass I researched and practiced what to exactly do before I did it, typing a string of gibberish commands into a program was risky enough.

I overclocked back in the day a lot. Now i just buy a tier higher hardware if i need more performance. And if the top end isn't performing enough i will wait for the gen after that to hit before buying so the games i want to play run and perform the way i want.

My brain cancer pushed my left eye out by about 2 centimeters. But it also made it so I can't even open my eye lid on it.

I saw this in his history and feel a little bad now.

I overclocked some old school MSI NVIDIA GTX 760s a few years back. My 8700K was overclocked.

Never bothered with it since.

PC gaming = using a cement mixer to make a cake.

Bigger, technically better, get more out of it. But bro, its a cement mixer.

The great thing about stupid analogies like that is that you can just flip them around to make the opposite point.

Console gaming = using a hand mixer to mix cement.

Smaller, cheaper, and technically capable of mixing cement. But bro, its a hand mixer.

I'm now $10k in debt and I just fried my GPU trying to do some kind of "overvolting" "underclocking" something or another.

You guys lied to me.

PC gaming is a scam. Fuck you. Fuck you all.

Your actions caused this, but sure, fuck accountability. You could have just ran at stock, dumb ass.

I got a 13600K because it had good reviews and benchmarks.

Turns out it was defective trash that Intel knowingly sent to retail.

I now have to replace my motherboard (min $200), cpu (min $300), and cooler (min $50) just to have a functioning system.

Intel's BS and Nvidia's prices make me want to go back to console, but Sony and MS can't release any games.

Wow mind blown.
Why would you ever do that?

typical shitpost of an ex console peasant, if you dont know dont touch, rtfm and spend some time in the forums before you deside to mess arround...also overclocking isnt fucking worth it anymore cpu wise ,gpu stay in the safe zone and always when you try to oc stay at the safe limits...
