Full Auto Xbox360 Trailer #2 - wahhhh?

Can't see this right now, but I've played the Full Auto demo. The graphics did seem to take a small hit in the demo, with some hitching and slowdown. But the game is unfinished so I would give it the benefit of the doubt until it comes out. I'm more worried about the destructable element than the graphics at the moment. This is what I said about the demo in another thread:

I enjoyed the Full Auto demo. Not sure if I like it enough to drop 60 bucks on the game, but it is enjoyable. The destructable elements are great, but they need to be more fleshed out. I would like to see more alternate routes open up due to the destruction you can cause. Yeah you can cut corners through some buildings but I would like to clear new paths in the game. Right now the demo race track is too linear, as the destruction seems to serve no other purpose other than to look cool.

Realtime, playable version of what you will *actually* play at home <<<< PR'd, doctor'd, target render'd marketing shit made for the fanboys.

Always has, always will, no matter the game and console.

Truth be told the Xbox 360 is so far in the lead in this shameful category.

The graphics were like that since they first showed the damn game. It's one of the first games shown for the 360...then PDR3 came out. This has nothing to do with the 360's power. I have the demo and yes, it looks good but not as good as PGR 3.

Looks the same as it always had as far as I can tell, it's just that it was a collection of actual gameplay clips instead of a structured cinematic sequence.

Are you seriously saying that the 360 has shown more Dr'd shots and CG than the PS3 stuff? lol Man, who are you kidding?

Edit:

I played the demo on the latest OXM. The game runs like shit and looks like shit. The version I played at E3 spanked this demo.

He did not say that... He said SO FAR. The PS3 is not out yet, so there is no way telling how they will compare in real time on your tv to what we have been fed in the media..

At this moment in time, this last week to be precise, screens and trailers from a couple of X360 games are taking nosedives in the graphics departement or are not the same we have hoped for.

You know, MS can count itself lucky that it at least has Kameo. Without that game, there really wouldn't be much to speak for the actual power of the system.

Aren't these the same guys who made that old XNA crash demo?

pgr3 says hi :)

yeah, they did the crash demo. shame that the destruction of the cars looks nothing like that stuff.

i'd like to hear more about how the most recent demo pales in comparision to the e3 demo, which i thought was quite nice.

PGR3 doesn't have quite the same impact as Kameo, at least not on me and people I've shown the system to; hell, the wife even asked me why I re-bought PGR2, so I think that at a glance, the generational leap may not be all that noticable. It may just be because Kameo is the type of game it is, but it's definitely the number one next gen showcase for me.

Well, it seems that most of the games start out looking great, then take a nosedive with the new kits, and start to come back up. Like in the GR3 interview with a dev. E3 version was kickass visually. Then, when everything started to be added, the X05 version looked rough as fuck. Now that they are finalizing everything. It seems to be going back up. Until they get game made from scratch on final kits, the games are going to follow this funny ass arch that they have established.

interesting point

The only real difference I noted was the HD trailer is certainly more vivid in colour while the newer trailer looks overly bright, which will lose detail. The bridge and rock collapse looked pretty poor aswell though.
