this show is rad when you're super blazed

white as fuck, but rad. great tone, sense of place, style,.

lovely colors in hd, everybody is still attractive.

jokes are funny

it's good

That moment when the first character on screen, due to using the old intro to start, is Michelle aka the one not in this.

Awkward.

Watched two episodes. Had enough already. The kid actors annoy the shit out of me. Steph is really hot, but she is not enough for me to keep watching it. It's really bad.

Couldn't even make it through one. Good lord it's atrocious. The one star review and AV Club's porn parody comparison were being generous.

Hadn't really seen the original so there's no nostalgia to fuel.

For real, Full House is my wife's favorite TV show from her childhood. When she heard about Fuller House, she convinced me to watch the entire series of Full House in preparation (I'd only seen maybe 30% of the series). My understanding is that Fuller House is basically just the exact same thing as Full House only set in modern times and basically does nothing to build on the original formula. If so, I think my wife will love it.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I'm on Episode 3. They hug. A lot.

It's exactly what you would expect it to be. Tons of winks and nods in the first episode, like every 30 seconds. But I'll admit, there have actually been some jokes that made me laugh.
The Mission Impossible 3 reference out of nowhere in Episode 1, and Ramona saying she didn't want to move in with the whitest family in America in Episode 2 killed me

This show is going to do so well. The redone theme song and intro are pretty good, they got a smile out of me on the first episode and I'm a curmudgeon. People that liked the original are going to eat this up with a spoon. Even when they ease off the nostalgia a little bit, it's still the same formula as the original series, so they know it'll work on some level.

Honestly, it's about the same as the original. Netflix is clearly going after fans of the original series and this is going to fit right in to that demographic. I don't know why anyone who didn't watch the original or didn't like the original would watch this.

I fucking love this, but nobody who hasn't seen the original will.

But does Trump jokes.

And that shade they threw at the Olsons.

I sat through the waaaaaaay too long pilot and that was enough for me. So, so bad.

(Just like Full House was.)

That was hardcore shade. That lasted forever ha ha ha

This show is nostalgic, schmaltzy, sanguine, cheezy and melodramatic...and I love it.

And Kimmy is awesome.

lol at that side by side Flintstones crib scene. They got it all perfect except Michelle's playpen was horizontal and Tommy's vertical

I'm ready for this turd!

I'm curious if this is worse than Girl Meets World. I watched a few episodes of that, and it's fine for the most part, but that show is definitely aimed at kids so it's excusable. Fuller House seems like it's a project for no one.

That audience, yikes. The times for sitcoms with audiences has passed. Gotta admit, the
Olsen twins
burn was kinda funny.

The opening is pretty good. Queen Jepsen slaying it.

It's also great seeing Jodie Sweetin looking healthy and happy given all the horrible shit she went through

And lol that Whitest family in America joke in ep 2 is fantastic. Just so many addons.

Man. Dat beginning of episode 1 and dat ending.

Sadly, can't stay up to watch the rest. Spent all day coding. But man. That was wild.

Watched the first 5 episodes (6:30AM in here) and I really like it.

It is as campy as expected and they're self-aware constantly by laughing at things from the show.

Overall funny...Kimmy remebering a scene she wasn't in the original and being called out for that...the "dancing lesbians"...

Some more adult jokes too like the thing with the plumber in episode 5...

And still sad things like what they reveal of a character in one of those episodes. Still have 8 more episodes to go. But so far it's what I expected. Glad it's here.

I'm 2 eps in.

It's way better than I imagined it being. The self awareness was unexpected I love it.

Jesse's do I hear violins joke at the end of ep 2 and the smirk at the camera lol

I gave myself options beforehand whether or not to watch the first episode depending on the answer to my question. I guess I'll watch the first episode now.

Just as a warning though it's not woth that over the top delivery. Though it has a payoff. A really weird payoff.

Pretty funny, in a campy way. Just like the original show. Saw two episodes. Not sure if I will stick through the entire season, as I never watched the original show religiously. But it is fun to see every now and then.

The audience is really killing it for me. :/ I don't like laugh tracks but I would much prefer it to the frequent cheers and reactions to nods of nostalgia/cheese. I really want to like this too, because DJ, Stephanie, and Gibbler are a great trio. Jackson seems alright, but I'm not sold on the other kids yet.

As a fan of the the original, this is some fun nostalgic stuff.

Just saw episode 3 and that shit was hilarious. Stephanie is still the best.

or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Realize This Assgrab is Delicious
This was heavily nostalgic... Not just because it's continuing an old show. It's hitting all the old-style storytelling beats of network entertainment of the early 90s.

I feel transported back to that era... A show I passively watched in-between NES games and elementary school classes.
