Has Squenix said anything about a western release for the games?

The first game in the series is coming out here next year. They haven't said anything about this one though. There's also a 4 player fighter called Fullmetal Alchemist: Dream Carnival that's being developed by Eighting and published by Bandai. No US release date for that one either.

Squenix told Gamesindustry.biz in an interview that they want to push further into Europe, publishing their own titles, and hopefully get FMA aired (i guess on Cartoon Network) and then release the games...dont think they mentioned a time scale for all that though.

The first one is pretty awesome. It's an action RPG like Dark Cloud. I think the US release has been confirmed

They should just skip the first game and release the second here, it looks way better. The Eighting fighter would be nice too, since it seems we'll never get the GC Naruto games here.

Can anyone who played the first FMA game give a basic non-spoiler run down on the plot? I'm actually thinking of picking it up after seeing the really good anime FMV clips in the episode 0 FMA promo documentary.
