When I think about the Android Saga and the episodes before it with Trump telling Goku he will be dead when the Androids arrive, I noticed that Trunks mentions a Virus that kills Goku before there is a Vaccine for it, but in Trunk's time there is. "He tells Goku that he will die from a heart virus that has no cure in the present before the battle "
The Androids of course decimate the Population of Earth in the far future, but what isn't mentioned is how they managed to find the cure before the Androids started killing people, or whether the Virus decimated the population either before or during the Androids massacre.
I mean, looking at this wikia mention makes it sounds really credible "It becomes apparent that Goku is experiencing some mild effects from the heart virus, which take its toll six months later than Future Trunks had predicted. ", now of course the Virus itself is a Lung affecting one, but it has been known to do other effects, and Goku being a Saiyan, it could have different affects on him as he is not a human.
"Gohan and Piccolo sense that something is wrong, and they notice that something is taking away from Goku's energy. He increasingly becomes more tired and out of breath, greatly lacking the power and energy of his usual self. Goku gets weaker by the minute, and expresses that he feels like he is dying. He clutches his hand to his chest, and at this point, Gohan realizes that the heart virus is attacking him. Krillin then gives Goku a Senzu Bean but it has no effect against the virus, and Goku's condition continues to worsen. " It's kind of weird reading this as the Coronavirus as it stands now has no vaccine or anything to alleviate it.
Looking back now, it's really funny to see that Toriyama predicted such a thing in a fictional anime that it has now happened in the real world (although we suspect plagues do happen, we tend to have the know-how to prevent them).
What do you guys think? Did Dragon Ball Z predict Coronachan before it became a thing? Would Goku survive it despite being an Alien?
