I've just set up a pretty basic home network so our lodger can use the net and stuff, are there any free games you can play over a network?

I'm talking basic stuff here, chess and such. Just figured it'd be something fun to do. Having something that can send an invite to the other networked computer would be cool too.

I did! And they're not free. Well, the ones that aren't java online games etc.
