GAF member in September EGM

Don't know if anyone saw/posted about this yet:

On the "Overheard" page, in the September issue of EGM, there's this quote:

"How ironic - that's the first time Paris was put into something instead of the other way around."

-Internet gaming forum member Erik Phairas responds to news that Paris Hilton's movie The Hillz will come out for PSP

At the bottom of the page, they credit the quotation source as the Gaming Age forums.

Just thought I'd mention that, as some people might find it funny/amusing/interesting. :)

Whomever is helming the GAF brand stewardship is doing a FANTASTIC job. I wouldn't be surprised to see GAF enter the console market in the next few years.

It's nothing we're doing. It's the editors and industry folk who visit...

For once Sales-Age threads may actually be interesting :P

I think GAF could easily supplant Wedbush et al when it comes to industry analysis and sales information.

Since there's no where else to put it, I'd like to say that the new EGM issue was really good. Lots of great articles and features in there, that Soul Calibur III preview basically convinced me I was going to buy it eventually (I wasn't even planning on it before).

Good job.

Well, see, that's because it came in too late to review, and if you read the actual text you'd.....wait, what? ...Oh......hey, thanks! :D

Yeah I noticed that. I couldn't remember where I heard it before though. A pretty illogical joke if you think about it. Wouldn't her TV show be the first time she was put into something, or any number of modelling or acting jobs that pre-date this movie that is being released on PSP? Not really clever or funny if you ask me. :lol

Dude, the joke is that she's a whore.

No shit? My point was that is wasn't funny or clever.
No man, I don't think you get it. He means that she's usually sleeping with guys instead of... well, you'll get the joke someday.

It's good to see that the GAF is making a name for itself I suppose, at least in regards to whether or not various magazines care about us.

Though I have to wonder if this will eventually lead to our downfall, or at least our mild annoyance if there's some sudden influx of people who're just here to say they're here, so as to prove they're hardcore or something along those lines. Kinda like the barbarian tribes that trashed Rome because they really just wanted to be Roman.

Always doing as the damn culture of the region they're in does... it pisses me off so much.

*Looks at CT*

*Laughs*

:p

I have to agree; I actually enjoyed this issue (esp. loved the Miyamoto interview, great pictures). Thumbs up to Mark and the rest of the gang. :)

Oh, and SC III does indeed sound great after reading that feature. The new mode/s should be interesting.

The Perfect Dark Zero pictures on the Hot 10 list look really sweet. I had heard about how bad the graphics in PDZero were but they look amazing in the new EGM. I really like the new Joanna Dark character model. The in-game character model looks really impressive, frosted bangs and all. Old Joanna on N64 was manish looking, the new young Joanna is pretty hot. :D I guess she let herself go over the years.

Is not that I don't get the joke, it's just that the joke is not clever, original, or funny to begin with. :)
