I find I've been listening to a ton of metal for the past like, year or so and its getting kinda stale and I'm sure there's lots of great music out there so I'd like to recommend me some new stuff to check out, I'm mostly looking for more mellow stuff but I wont be opposed to high energy stuff.

Some non metal artists I really enjoy:

-Burial
-Aphex Twin
-Skream
-The Prodigy
-Four Tet
-Clams Casino

-Foals
-Beck
-Wavves
-David Bowie
-The Vines
-Cage The Elephant
-Ghost(B.C)
-Crosses(Deftones sideproject)
-Rat Boy
-RHCP

-Gorillaz
-MF.Doom
-Childish Gambino
-Tyler the creator

-Soley

Dammit, I was ready to recommend some power metal, I guess I will do it some other time grumblegrumble

Sufjan Stevens - The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out to Get Us! The most chillaxing song I have ever heard.

Desorden Publico - Alla Cayo A silly song about a person that fell down, ignore the images on the video, this is just the best quality version I could find lol.

Kevin Johansen - Sur o no Sur Very interesting song, video is a bit surrealistic, takes a bit to get to the lyrics though.

Cherry Poppin' Daddies - Zoot Suit Riot Can't forget the classics!

Parov Stelar - Booty Swing dancedance

I really can't wrap my mind around metal getting stale with how varied it can be. That said, here's some of the non-metal bands I'm really into.

Echo and the Bunnymen

The Sisters of Mercy

Screaming Trees

The Gathering (early stuff is metal)

Uriah Heep

Yura Yura Teikoku

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult

The Lords of Acid

KMFDM you could argue that this is metal.

Also, Ghost is metal.

Edit: put higher energy stuff towards the bottom.

Well, I guess its not really stale I've just listened to it so much now that I'm nearing the point of not wanting to listen to it at all, which is pretty much what happened when I went on an electronic music binge for like 4 years which is another genre you could call varied. I also won't disagree that Ghost is metal, but I guess in terms of reccomendations here I'm looking more towards their second album and their EP which are closer to soft and indie rock than metal.

But so far, from this thread what I do like is:
As it is
Stabbed in the back
G.L.O.S.S
Screaming Trees
Echo and the Bunnymen
Leon Bridges isn't reallly my thing, but his stuff is good and he's clearly very talented
Megadrive

Still going through stuff after this quoted post though. Also will check out Kendrick later

Chon - Story

My favorite album in years. A weird mix of jam band and Minus The Bear.

I was so close to putting CHON in the OP but I figured no one would know them so why bother, but yeah they're really good.

Punk is great and I'm glad someone showed me more of it since its a genre I've liked for a while but I've had trouble finding bands I really liked. Trash Talk is another good band you should check out if you haven't yet.

*fistbump*

Listen to Empress of :3

*Fistbump return*
and that is actually really good too.
I love this.

The first two aren't really my thing, but I like the last three, last two especially. I can see Booty Swing getting some use.
Power Metal is my least favorite metal tbh

You like metal and good dubstep. My first thought was Distance.

Other tracks by him:
No Sunshine
Drawn

Also some really good stuff

Anything from Devin Townsend.

I've tried to listen to him, but I don't think anything of his has ever really grabbed me aside from the one song he did with Gojira and the guitarist of Meshuggah.

Deadsy
Perturbator
Stabbing Westward
Dan Terminus
Gost
Carpenter Brut
Etro Anime
Gunship
Dead Inside The Chrysalis
Dead Astronauts
The Anix

If you like Four Tet and Burial, check out Jamie xx and Floating Points. Both have released amazing debuts in 2015, with Floating Points' record being more jazz-inspired. In addition, the Hyperdub crew is usually great, especially Kode9 and Dean Blunt. Also, check out some up and coming DJs from Berlin, like Levon Vincent, Galcher Lustwerk, and XOSAR, as well as Lapalux from Brainfeeder.

IF you like DOOM, check out his side projects. Also, check out Earl Sweatshirt and Captain Murphy if you like Gambino and OFWGKTA.

All of those are great, I was also considering throwing in Nosaj thing to the OP but just didn't bother. His album drift is one of my favorites

We have somewhat similar taste. Here are two classics you may or may not already know.

Drake, Future - What A Time To Be Alive
Serious question: Does drake have any more songs like/as good as Hotline Bling?

No problem. Oh shit I just thought about something. I know you like MF DOOM but do you know his album Take Me To Your Leader? It's one that doesn't get much exposure but it's probably the most played album of his for me.

Drake's best work imo:
