Gamerwiki

If they keep it strictly to facts (maybe links to reviews etc) and avoid throwing in shitty personal comment when they editorialise, it'll be good.

Kinda off-topic maybe, but I'd like to know about these Wiki-sites: can anybody who wants to just edit anything on those pages without approval of admins?

Because I look some things up at Wikipedia sometimes and when I found a type once, I edited it and immediately that page was changed. I always assumed that someone would review the correction first, but that's not the case.

And if so, what if someone wants to abuse that system and delete or change a whole page or something? Sure admins could restore an older version, but then the pages would still be down or incorrect for a certain time.

Anyway, a site like this could be nice indeed, kinda like what N-Sider already does for Nintendo games.

"Wind Waker Cover (french)"... ?!

Looks fake to me. There's an artwork piece from Nintendo's PR sites which is similar. Just Link on a beach with his grandma and sister. They've even kept the beach line in there... looks messy.

Seems to be a wikipedia style gaming database. Might join up and help out.

I like the fact that they give the cedits for games - it's kinda like imdb I suppose.
There'll be something much better coming along...

You know something?

Ya, I'm sorry I can't really say more right now, but when it does launch I really want GAF to be a big part of it.

Mobygames is pretty excellent

Definitely, it's a great site. What they do, they do extremely well, but they're missing a few small things, and a couple big things.
