good, average scores for average games.
the sense is seeping through.

remember this a english magazine, so 5 means average, 6 slightly above etc...
7 is not bad.

RE4 hasnt done that great in reviews in the UK. No surprise i guess given the media here.

Good for TSFuture :) I hope it is not an average game :P

It could be overrated due to it being British. TS2 had higher reviews.

Fixed :) English mags generally are not like this - Edge and GamesTM are the only two I can think of.

whats wrong with the RE4 score both Edge and Gamestm gave it 9/10. What more do you want? Edge pinpointed more than 1 issue it had with the game so it fully validated the reasoning behind the 9/10 score. And Gofreak is correct many other mags give similarly overbloated scores that many other mags do. For me the reviews in EDGE and GamesTM are the ones I look to when I'm considering a game, thats no to say that sometimes I don;t agree with them but in the main they are spot on.

TS3 is an average game. the series seems to be stuck in the late 90s not the 21st century. FPS's have moved on, and from what i have played of TS3, its pretty bland.

well, they are the only magazines who cater to the non-'partisan' games player and have a writing style and feature set which is alot higher than your 'offical' magazine.

i guess we 'non-partisan' games players are about the games being compared to the whole specturm as opposed to the platform specific and acatering to 'fanbois'

Sorry not you templar I fully understood and agreed with your post. It seems Deg got a laugh from the fact that I think EDGE and GamesTM give the best and most informative review advice. I was wondering what the laugh was for?
