Okay, a few weeks ago we got a new burner for this computer, adding the other one [which was having problems reading discs, but not burning] into out second computer [which now burns and reads through it without any problems].
We put in the new burner, but it was having trouble burning [DVDwrite 9 error], and would only be able to barely read the file structures fo the disc before screwing up.
We thought this should be fixed with a reformatting and a reinstalling of Windows. Yesterday I got around to formatting the C drive, and I reinstalled Windows [Through the DVD Burner in question] without any problems.
Now, after it's all installed, it still has the same problems it did before the reformatting, despite it working fabulously during installing Windows.
I've updated the drivers, restarted the computer, tried different programs, but I don't know what's up with it.
It is a Pioneer DVDR-W DVR-110d (rev 1.08).
