Now, they're recalling about 350,000 Focus cars because the rear passenger doors don't always latch properly.

While it's good that they're owning up and taking care of the problem, I think it's time to threaten some engineers. "Built Ford Tough-h-h-h-h-h [reboots]"

lol, that is about the 6th or 7th recall for the 2000 focus, and that doesn't include 2 other items that weren't recalled, but items that Ford would replace for free if you had certain problems.

Oh well. The rear door thing might be a boon tho. I might go take my 2000 focus in and bitch about my rear door not locking electonically anymore and blame it on that ;P

It's funny, my old 1994 Ford Probe held up great, but then again, that thing was more Mazda than it was Ford's doing (it's basically a rebadged MX-6). Yes, I'm aware that Ford owns them, but believe me, their vehicles are quite different. Lately I hear of all kinds of quirky things from Ford vehicles...

Well, everyone knows the old joke, but did you know Hondas and Acuras have a recall coming as well? I work with car dealers daily, and one guy has been calling Honda and Acura owners about this new recall. Didn't really make waves, I guess...

Alot of vehicles see recalls, but it's usually for pretty minor stuff, it's just this pretty big problem that Ford's SUV and trucks had immediately followed by this new one that I find funny. Toyota seems to be the best way to go in terms of reliability, but I suppose everyone's mileage may vary (hur hur).
