Not at all, he's well aware that teasing anything "Something About Blood II" will get the internet talking due to Bloodborne. Would there be a thread on GAF if he was like "Tune in for a new Vampire Masquerade trailer at Gamescom, whoooo..."? -- definitely not.

Anything to get more eyes on the show.

Oh, I hate the Dorito's Pope hype building to later get a huge dissapointment. Pretty likely he's baiting with Bloodborne II when what in reality he's going to show instead something like Knack 3: Bloody Tears or a sequel of a random, mediocre AA PC game from Eastern Europe that almost nobody cares about.

I think we'll get both a Bloodborne remake probably as launch window PS6 title, to be followed by a Bloodborne 2 sequel not long after it. Plus some manga/anime/movie/tv show adaptation released pretty likely between them.

But none of that will be announced at a Doritos Pope event, and even less at the Gamescom one. Specially in a Gamescom edition where Sony isn't attending like the current one.

I haven't played the first but typically vampires don't bleed when hurt, and when playing as vampires it is drunk, not spilled…
