BUSH HURT IN BIKE CRASH
President Bush has collided with a local police officer during a bike ride at the G8 summit at Gleneagles in Scotland.

The American leader suffered scrapes on his hands and arms while the officer was taken to a local hospital.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan said it had been raining lightly when Mr Bush slid off the road.

He had been going at a "pretty good speed", Mr McClellan said.

Mr Bush suffered scrapes and was bandaged by the White House physician. His bicycle was damaged and he had to return from the ride in a van.

The officer was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Mr McClellan said the extent of the officer's injuries was not known but he may have an ankle injury.

The officer, who was on a security detail, is a member of the Strathclyde police department.

Mr Bush reportedly plans to call him later to see how he is doing.

The fall did not affect the president's schedule and he joined other world leaders at a dinner hosted by the Queen.

Haha, that's pretty great. :lol You gotta admit George looks good for his age.. 49 seems a lot more feasible than 59.

For some reason, he reminds me a lot of a much younger Mel Brooks.

Watch Blazing Saddles for reference.

Holy Christ, I didn't realize he was that old. He looks 39.

Isn't there an age law to be the Head of the State? I think it is 50...

And as much as I dislike him in office..he is aging well...unlike his old man...

Article 2 establishes the second of the three branches of government, the Executive. Section 1 establishes the office of the President and the Vice-President, and sets their terms to be four years. Presidents are elected by the Electoral College, whereby each state has one vote for each member of Congress. Originally, the President was the person with the most votes and the Vice-President was the person with the second most, though this is later changed. Certain minimum requirements are established again, such as a 35-year minimum age. Presidents must also be a natural-born citizen of the United States. The President is to be paid a salary, which cannot change, up or down, as long as he in is office.

No restrictions on mental age, then, I take it? For, say, 20 year old frat kid dry drunks?

wtf, seriously

Oh, come now. It's half in jest if you can't tell but I certainly don't wish the man well. You'll have to excuse me if I don't appreciate some incompetent, power hungry manchild heading up the country.

He does look fairly young for his age, but then I don't think he has a lot on his mind or conscience and he spends a good chunk of this time biking and on his ranch. He doesn't look 39, but he could certainly pass for mid-40s.

Here's to hoping he doesn't see 65.

Does it matter? I mean really. When will people learn it doesn't matter who is president? It is you who makes your life not some pussy hair named president.

Hopefully Nostradamus predictions are false.
