One of my friends doesn't have an accent, but he also studies English at uni. I also have no problem with having an accent, sometimes it can even sound charming. The one from this guy though is just atrocious.

PS: If you need any German speaking time just shoot me a PM. I can always use some English conversation time myself.

I guess we could have one German language thread for all students and natives. Just as long as its confined to that one thread?!

I was tempted a couple of times to make one to help improve my german since there's threads like "Let's learn japanese" and stuff like that but I wasn't sure how many people would actually respond since I don't know how big german gaf is. I wish I could do the umlauts on my keyboard though, when I do the Alt+whatever number keys it says to use it doesn't give me that letter with an umlaut. You should make it though since my german sucks

Another name for them in english is 'harvestman', which is basically the same.

Ya, I'm cool with that. It'll let me see if skype works here since the VPN at my university sucks dick with how much stuff it blocks. They assured me skype works but I haven't tried yet.
