I just got a 360 (in preparation for Oblivion, I can't risk it being sold out when the game is released) and I'm messing about with the dashboard. I'm a bit annoyed that you can't just copy files over from a USB unit. I mean, you can't send them on over Live so what's the problem? I've ripped a few songs from my CDs but I usually can't be bothered when it doesn't recognize the CD automatically (who put together the database anyway - it recognizes Clannad, FF8 arranged and a freaking Lea Salonga disc but not some high-profile Swedish releases?). And streaming off my MP3 player feels a bit stupid to be honest. Is it likely that a dashboard update will eventually add more features to the mp3 player?
As for pictures, any way to store them permanently and not just a single picture as background? If I use them as backgrounds, what size should they be for the best possible resolution?
Or maybe I should just STFU and RTFM?
