The question is - is this a port of the PS2 game, the Xbox game or again a third independant version?

Why do companies bother porting games to the Gamecube after the fact?(Midway with MK2, Atari with Dragon Ball Z 2)

Don't they realize that unless the game is a console exclusive or at least multi-console from day 1, Cube fans ain't bitin'.

Though, I won't complain about more support from UbiSoft.

They need a rock-solid argument behind the "Our sales on Nintendo platforms suck," argument. Actually, you know, putting a version out at the same time as the others kind of makes that harder. Not impossible, just harder.

This is something we can argue about in 10 years.

"There wasn't a version of Ghost Recon 2 on the Gamecube."

"Yes there was."

Why bother?

GCN T.CLANCYS GHOST RECON UBI SOFT Feb-03 96,027 (LTD)

Probably because its enough to turn a profit.

I mean if EA can release Madden games on the PS1 (which they just stopped) and make money off of it then I think that a port to the Cube should be able to make Ubi Soft some money. :lol

Is it just me or does this game look AWFUL in these screens? So did Rainbow Six 3 on GC, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

It's because Ubisoft rather than develop a GC version just port the shitty as PS2 rev because they're lazy and they like to release games months after they come out else where so that no one cares about it
