As long as Brad does a home stream I don't care how they waste precious content time at PAX.
Couple of giggles at Vinny being Vinny, but nothing outstanding.
We can only pray. 🙏I agree. Hopefully he decides to play DOTA.

I have no affinity towards Nintendo and their supply situation obviously sucks and is only made worse if they do the same dumb thing as last year and cut things off before people that actually want it can get it, but let's not kid ourselves I don't believe for a second that he would have made the article had he netted the pre-order lol.Patrick wrote an article about how the preorders for the SNES Classic sucked (duh), someone made a thread about it in Gaming and half of the first page was people insinuating he's just mad because he couldn't get a preorder. It's crazy how much people will go to bat for their favorite giant corporation.
Anyone else watched their stream last night with Jeff and Ben? It was kinda painful to see all the a-holes in the chat commenting on Ben's appearence and how a horrible person he is... You could clearly see how the comments got to him by the end of the stream where he just basically just sat there quietly while Jeff did the talking.
I really think Ben is a cool guy, he can be a bit annoying from time to time sure but does that give you the right to go insult him over and over? Jeez... People on the inernet sometimes.
People were being dicks to Ben in Giant Bomb's own chat? What the hell, never seen that before. Was last night's stream a free one? Maybe that's why.
It must have been a twitch stream or something, because Giant Bomb mods would have shut that shit down quick. Haven't seen the stream in question, though.
It was up real last minute, so it may have been under-modded if it was in the GBomb chat.
Wait, is this referring to the Bombcast Aftershow? I thought the poster was referring to a different stream because he said "last night" and I was watching it during the daytime in my time zone. I didn't have chat opened so I didn't notice anything like that at all.

Nintendo was right. AGAIN.
People suck.
Text and voice chat sucks.
Here! and Yeah! are the only two pure fors of communication.
The problem starts with Nintendo not manufacturing enough. That's for sure. But other than that I'd blame retailers. Bundling the SNES mini with worthless merchandise crap to get rid of stock for example should be illegal.
There are many ways to handle supply constrained products - it happens in all industries from electronics to fashion. Nintendo just chooses to ignore the problem because Nintendo likes to ignore problems.

I don't think it's used to discredit the point, just that it may have been selfish in creation heh.I can see that, but that doesn't make his points any less valid.
Maybe it's because I'm kinda used to this but I don't really see the problem of a supply-restrained collectors item?
People get hung up by the fact that it's supply-restrained in the first place. I have no idea why Nintendo does this (maybe their profit margin on those things isn't worth it or opportunity costs etc.) but that's how they want to sell those things. That understandably generates a lot of frustration and anger. Nintendo being THE nostalgia brand and all.
It's marketing. Someone posted a really fascinating article in the SNES preorder thread about why Nike allows for and benefits from the second hand limited edition sneaker market and it lines up perfectly with what Nintendo is doing with the Classic editions.
Could totally be the case. But it would be a bit new for them. They typically can't meet demand for legitimate reasons. This power move would be pretty cunning for a traditional company such as Nintendo. It's marketing. Crazy to see people fumbling to defend Nintendo, even in this situation
and crazy to see that the people defending Nintendo coincidentally got 3 pre-orders, and are literally the problem
This is literally my Bachelor's Degree. I'm not defending anyone. And I'm allowed to pre-order as many as I want. This is the open market. Not some socialist dystopia.
Also: Dude, just quote me. This isn't Kindergarten.

They're hiring for SF again? Did someone leave?

So i'm going to go to my local toy store and buy ALL the brand new toys just before christmas guys. I might even sell them back on ebay
it's an open market, not a socialist dystopia so this is ok and acceptable
Yes, Drew
Yes, their couch left. It was tired of being sat on all the time.
No. It's just CBSi being CBSi. This is for someone to fill in Drew's position.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows how to suck the life out of a fun thing like Pat Baer.
Subtweeting is something kids do. Come on. I've got three pre-orders in. Maybe I'll keep them, maybe I'll cancel them. I'm not sure yet.i'm subtweeting you dude
And ok I guess you were allowed to do it so I don't have the right to think you're a shitty person? my bad!
Heh.
Oy Pat Baer, bummer

He just really likes to overexplain things.
Which is always a puzzling thing to me when I watch 404ing.
