the voice chat lagging at the same time as the game was kind of sketchy. it seems weird to piggyback chat audio onto game data. that seems like that would collapse in on itself very quickly under any load

Why is digging even needed? What does context matter at all? It's just a coffin with COD on it, it can be funny. You don't need to go out of your way to decide on if you find something funny or ridiculous. You can have surface feelings about things without needing to go out of your way to figure out if you need to feel bad.
