Yes, it is. It's also likely to degrade performance for those of us who use Gmail for its intended purpose. Similar projects have been shut out by Google in the past, and I'd be surprised if we don't see some changes made in the protocol to break this, and some accounts terminated for using it.

I certainly wouldn't trust my data to it.

I tried it, 10mb is the limit.
