Cool............I love the watercolor look of the game. Is the game 2d or 3d?
It's a combination. That boss fight is 3d. Dunno about the other characters though.

this game looks awesome in the video.

i think ppl should stop direct linking Nintendo pics in forums though, their servers are fully getting killed... took ages for the video took ages to load and the pics too...

Good. Maybe they'll upgrade their bandwidth because of it.

Is that the one from Nintendo's site with all the different games in it?

rock on! is there any way to rip movies from flash files? if so, what software would be used to do that?
Well you can use a program to convert flash to a video, it's called swf2video. Sorry if that wasn't much help. :(

Thank christ!! It's about time Studio rescued the franchise from those Neo Age hacks in Tokyo...

Konami Studios is also in Tokyo. :p

BTW, were the N64 Goemon games developed by Konami Kobe or Konami Osaka?

I've got a PS1 Goemon here (from 1998) that says KCEN (Nagoya). KCET also released one a couple of years ago.

That's the one.

What about the Famicom Goemon released on the GBA?
I'd guess NCL handled all the FCmini ports themselves using EAD's emu team. The older Goemon games (AC, FC, MSX & GB) aren't really attributable to specific teams though without pouring through credits, though the KCEO team was essentially behind the first SNES game iirc.

Should I be worried that this title doesn't make it to the US? half of the goemon titles have stayed in Japan.

For US releases...

-Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES) 1992
-Mystical Ninja starring Goemon (N64) 1998
-Mystical Ninja starring Goemon (GB) 1998
-Goemon's Great Adventure (N64) 1999
-Mystical Ninja Goemon (PS2) ???

...WD insists the PS2 game is still coming. Let's hope the new GBA & DS games make it instead. :)

I can't believe that some of the Goemon games stay in Japan when they are better than most crap that make it to the western countries.

My brother and I played through Goemon 2 japan, and we started on Goemon 3 japan, but it's was more of a RPG game so it was impossible.
