7500 items on sale. Go and buy something.

Big fan of GOG and… well, actually owning PC games and not having to phone home. I'll inevitably end up picking some games up.

And hey - Cold Fear just got re-released today, so I guess I'll add that to the queue.

Some other potentially good purchases

Pathfinder 2 GOTY with all dlc that came after launch

New Tomb Raider trilogy

GOG exclusive games

(Not exactly exclusive but this version comes with all expansions whereas steam's doesnt)

GOG exclusives on low or not on sale

What kind of game is it? Opinions on it diverge quite a lot
Its basically like Dragon Age meets The Witcher, but set in a colonial fantasy world with 17th century vibes instead of medieval ones. You play as an aristocrat diplomat going to a new continent being colonized by different countries. There's intrigue and clashes between both them and with the natives of the continent, with you between it all. It has a bioware style companion system and the dialogue choices actually matter, for the ending. You can play as a gunslinger or mage or a mix of both. Amazing game that I seldom see people talking about.

Yes, but why do people complain about it? Reviews i see usually say theres jank and combat isnt very good

If you want something not on steam, theres the classic resident evil and dino crisis bundle

Oh shit, 50% off? I've had those two bundles in my GOG cart for a while. Glad I held off on the prior sale pricepoints. Bought!

Sales Female protagonist edition:

Nice, I think I'll pick up the Dino Crisis bundle. Hopefully they're less of a hassle to get working on the Deck than RE2 and RE3 were (OG was easy peasy).

Picked up bunch of stuff on sale. Dino Crisis, Hitman Collection, Knights of Honor, Resident Evil Origins Collection, and bunch of random stuff.

It's a great sale and you actually own the games. I back all of the installers up to my NAS after I buy them which gets backed up in turn.

Wait, wait, all Yakuza games including the first Turned Based one are on GoG?

I am going to grab Yakuza 0, the "Starter Pack" (Kiwami 1&2), 6 and Yakuza Like a Dragon. YOLO! 😁

Bought the Resident Evil bundle, the Dino Crisis bundle and BoF IV.

They should convince Konami to put the original Silent Hill 2 in there.

How are the resi evil and Dino crisis bundles?
Are they worth it or better to just emulated?
The best versions are the ones using Classic Rebirth. The patches were made for one or two versions, usually the original Japanese PC releases, but I think that with a small amount of work they are compatible.

I also hear that downloading the Japanese language versions helps.

They may be more info on the GOG forums, but it's been a minute since I've looked at them.
