Going to Ibiza for the weekend, what to expect?

So my bro is getting married and we're having his stag in Ibiza over the weekend.

Any tips? Things we should expect?

I've heard the clubs are silly expensive over there, like €50 just to get in.

If you go to the big clubs then it will be expensive. I was €70 to go to pacha when David Guetta was playing and it was like €20 for a beer but I didn't buy any drinks in there as I was so drunk before I went.

The strip in Ibiza is not to bad price wise just the same as places like napa and magaluf.

Edit: Also every 3rd person you see will be on drugs (ecstasy) or asking you if you would like to buy some.

Mate cheers. 70€ is nuts but it's only once and since you're there might as well.

Last time I went I took Molly and I was rollin all week. Best time ever

So got back from Ibiza on Monday morning, knocked out for about a day and now back in Sydney after a 24 hour flight.

Have to say that was one of the best trips ever.

Ibiza is nothing like any place I've been to before. Everything talking about no sleep even and mayhem on the flight, it's all true. Can't believe how crazy some of it was.

We didn't get my brother adequately fucked as we wanted but some funny shit still happened so still good result in the end!

Ibiza mission successful :)

I went to Ibiza on holiday with my parents many moons ago....it was still a civilized place back then.
It still is for the most part, just avoid the English enclaves in San Antonio who are on stag party (no offence OP :P )

The nice thing about Ibiza is that unlike most other Spanish beach areas, everything looks nice and you can get high quality food and services. I went to David Guetta in Pascha too, and while he played one of the best sets I've heard (and I've been around), and it's definitely something you should do, getting packed in like sardines, waiting till four am for it to start while beers cost 20 euroes, I decided I was definitely getting too old for that shit.

My favorite part is the south west overlooking Es Vedra.

You must have some stories to tell, so spill!

Going there for a big turning-30 bash next year with a group of friends. How risky is it to get molly and stuff? We're going all in for this trip.

Hehehehe, it seems that we have yet another satisfied customer here. Glad that you enjoyed your trip, OP!

Just avoid doing anything too much retarded such as "balconing", and you will be fine :p

So you haven't been to Tenerife, Gijón, Palma nor Biarritz for what I see :p

The great thing of Ibiza to me is the contrast between extreme party places VS extreme relaxation / chilled out zones. Great not only for the party, but the afterparty as well. Freaking awesome place to be.

Expect Coke and Weed as far as the eye can see. But now that i think of it, party season is pretty much over. Are you just going for the sights or something?

Nm, it happened already.

Shit, that first part was definitely not balconing.

The door prices can be expensive in comparison to a club night in your city. But you're basically getting festival like lineups for 1/5 the cost of a festival.

Drinks seem expensive, but the spanish make them strong. And my experience, they make em stronger as the night goes on. So it evens out to not being that bad really.

It's basically what you'd expect. Club from 10pm - 6am. sleep till midday or so. revive your self from the dead. and repeat.

I'd use RA to checkout most clubs lineups so you can plan which club you want to be at each night.

Really, the whole place is fun. You can buy alcohol on the island and "pre-drink" but i didn't bother.

oh, i'm late. nm.

Tenerife and La Palma are rocks, Biarritz is France and Gijon is not the Meditteranean.

I haven't

The big famous clubs (space, Eden etc.) are stupid expensive to get in and then it's like 10 euro's for a bottle of hieneken when your in there, I could only afford to go in one in the 10 days I was there, the rest of the time was spent in the smaller clubs on the strip/bay.

The taxi's are so expensive it's ridiculous and you'll constantly be asked if you want to buy some sniff or weed when walking around at night.

Other than that it's the best holiday I've had.

Club prices tends to be expensive, but there are festivals all over the place and they are (IMHO) a far better deal regarding quality VS price. That being said, it is almost impossible to go wrong when going out partying in Ibiza. Its festive vibe it's simply unmatched anywhere else in the world.

Then you should try them! :p Tenerife is full of volcanic sandy beaches, Palma de Mallorca is one of my favourite islands ever and not too far from Ibiza (go there before the chavs realize it), the Spanish Cantabric coast is utterly glorious and Biarritz was a brain fart from my part (I was thinking about Zarauz beach).

Gross... first one looks like a suicide?

Drunk / drugged tourists have took a liking for trowing theirselves trough the windows from their hotels attempting to fall into the swimming pools below (real or imaginary). Just don't be one of these guys

I can't think of a single place in the Spanish vacation areas that I've not enjoyed immensly.

Ibiza was fun, now Puetro de la Cruz is my current favourite though, gettin' ooooold.. :P

I went to Torremolinos once. That was pretty dire. (but still fun in a tongue in cheek way).
