I want to make a list of all the albums I have, yet I really don't want to type it out. Does anyone know a good program that will generate a HTML or txt file with just the artist and album?

Tell me how you've got your music directory set up, and I might have a quick download-free solution.

Arrgh, where'd you do? Do you think I'm up 24 hours a day

Is your music directory set up like so:
C:\Music\artist\album\files.mp3?

Example:
c:\music would show
Avantasia
Edguy
Manowar

C:\music\Avantasia would show:
Avantasia - [2001] - The Metal Opera
Avantasia - [2002] - The Metal Opera Part 2

c:\music\Avantasia\Avantasia - [2001] - The Metal Opera would show
01 - Prelude.mp3
02 - Reach Out For The Light.mp3
etc?

yay, after I've typed all that up.

open dos
type:

d:
cd music
tree /a>files.txt

Hopefully you'll like how it looks.

If you've for word, you might also like this option:
open dos
type:

d:
cd music
tree>files.txt

Then open the file in Word, and choose MS-DOS encoding. From here you can then save the file as a word document or as html or whatever you like, and it'll keep a nicer looking formatting than the ascii
