Google to Build Campus on NASA Property

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Google Inc. said Wednesday that it has signed an agreement to develop up to 1 million square feet on a NASA research center in the heart of Silicon Valley.

The development is part of a partnership between Google and the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View. The company and government agency will work together to develop data management and computing tools, as well as promote entrepreneurial initiatives in outer space.

Google's announcement didn't provide details about what it might build at NASA Ames, but the company has made it clear that it needs more office space to accommodate its rapidly growing work force.

Yeah, I read about this yesterday; it sounds awesome. Man, my friend just had an interview with them yesterday and he'll hear back on Monday (this is for the NY office).

I bet Google will soon announce free teleportation for everyone. And they'll index the world.

There needs to be much more photoshopping of Google’s CEO with the Emperor from Star Wars. But then... would that make Microsoft the rebellion? That can’t be right. Maybe it should be the other way around. Gates as the Emporer and Balmer as Vader with the Google CEO being Luke? Could work

Nah, I think there should just be 2 dark sides and no rebellion. Nothing like 2 giant black balls firing off at one another! :lol :lol
