They're cute, but not as cute as mine. :D The second one looks like he's about to kick somebody's ass. :p

You can tell that the first one is young-- his coloring is mostly black. When we got my dog, he was pretty much all black, with a little brown on the head; as he's aged, the brown areas expanded and he's gotten a nice silver color, too. Some of the black is still there, obviously, mostly along his sides towards the bottom and on his back. His legs and butt and head are almost all brown.

Now that I look at it again, the second dog looks a bit like mine, but my dog's ears don't fall straight down on the sides like that, and his face is a bit fuller. Having two of them is great-- it's what the vet said that you should do if you have Yorkies, because they really need a lot of attention/stimulation.

Both are the same dog actually. He was about a year old when we took the pic and he's over two years old now. I don't have any pics of the new pup since my digital camera broke but he's only 4 months old and less then half the size.

And what is it with dogs and mailmen? I swear mine FREAKS when he comes and even when he doesn't see him and we take out the mail he starts freaking out at the mail and attacks it. Funniest thing - my mailmen actually tied up our mail one day and threw it towards our door cause he was afraid of it, I mean it's like 8 lbs!

:lol

Same dog? His ears grew down. :p But yeah, as they get older, more brown and silver start to come in on their coat.

My dog used to flip out on the mailman also; do you have a mailbox outside the house or a slot on the front door that they drop the mail through? Because when we used to use the slot on the door, he'd flip out when the postman came up the steps, and then attack the mail as it came through the slot, and even when it was on the ground a bit. :D Now we use a mailbox outside; he still barks at the mailman (though not as much anymore), but at least he doesn't get at our mail. :p To the dog, it must look like the door is shitting mail-- a very frightening prospect. :D

My dogs new thing is to go ballistic at 5 AM when the newspaper delivery guy comes, as he did today. Always interrupts my sleep, dammit. We're gonna leave the guy a note saying to just leave the paper on the steps from now on and don't come upstairs and open our screen door, which is where he currently slips the paper.

Our maid was afraid of my dog when he was 4 weeks old (German Sheppard)

The little fucker couldn't even run properly, yet always scared the shit out of our maid. To the point where she's running away trying to hold her scream in. It was just a little furball at that point haha.
