So me and my buddes will be going to WWE Vengeance on June 26th on campus at UNLV. What should I expect from a live WWE event? Is alcohol expensive? I can't wait! This is my first Live WWE event ever!

$4 for nachos with cheese

$2.50 for a bottle of water

The sounds and the atmosphere of a live show kinda suck cause there's no commentators, and the ring sounds like a piece of wood placed on top of a rusty matress. But if the crowd is into then it's good and noisy. Depending how close you are to ringside, Kane's in ring pyro get's really hot and loud.

evil ways pretty much nailed it.

But one thing he forgot about is this:

The people who bring signs can be the most annoying pains in the asses know to man. They'll hold them up when the cameras are no where near them. Or when the cameras are off... PUT THE SIGN DOWN ASSHOLE, I CANT SEE!

PPVs are a great experience live though. I've been to 2 (WWF vs WCW Invasion & Survivor Series 2005) now and loved them both.

and yes, the pyro is LOUD and HOT no matter where you sit.

I think its a RAW PPV so "Edge Speared Lita" / "Lita Is On The Edge" is always a good choice of sign these days if you want to try and get on TV make up a sign relative to current storylines or bring a flag (flag people always get on TV) You could bring a "Peep" sign or a "That’s How I Role" sign but Cptn Charisma should be residing on SD by Vengeance which is a pity. "Kane Burned My Other Sign" is the only other idea I have for that.

The closer you are to the ring the better the atmosphere is but it also depends on the crowd or quality of matches. If the crowd can be bothered to themselves into some of the match (depends on their quality) to whole arena should have a great night.

I think there is a Hell In A Cell planed for the PPV
so you have a nice gimmick match for your first live show the crowd should get into that.

Have Fun!!!

Random signs always have gotten my props the most... for example:

Bob enjoys Fruit.

As far as the show goes... it really depends on who you are with and the crowd surrounding you as well. If you've got good fans around you... you'll have a good time.

I enjoy myself INFINITELY more at ROH and local wrestling shows/venues. You are more involved with the crowd and the wrestlers... and I like that. Always nice when the wrestlers are yelling back at you after you made the crowd laugh with one of your interestingly placed jokes.

You can catch the antics of my friends and I on some of ROH's DVDs ;)

Actually I JUST got back from tonights ROH show in Chicago.

One of the interaction things I can remember( there were a ton but I just spent 4 hours on the road and I'm dead tired) was early in the Colt Cabana/Nigel Mcguinnes match Nigel hit Colt with a hard shot and tried to pin him 3 times in a row. The guy next to me says "come on ref the 3rd time is supposed to be the charm" and Nigel gets up points at him and nods in agreement. Then later on Colt was in a submission hold of some sort and the same guy yells "dont tap Colt" and Colt looks our way and says " Tap? I'm not gonna tap".

I dont know if I can go back to sitting in the 2nd or 3rd row after sitting front row. Hopefully

Though I did have fun at the one WWF PPV I went too(No Mercy 01) even though the show itself wasnt great and our seats sucked. Its all about how you make it.

As for beer it was like 4 bucks for a tall in St Louis 2 years ago.

And that's what I'm talking about. If I'm gonna pay 20-30 bucks on a show... I want it all!

I remember after the problem ROH had with their "interesting" former owner... the new owner came out after the show and tried to shake everyone's hand and thank them for coming.

It's shit like that that keeps me coming.

...that... and the great matches (Although, I haven't been to a show since last Summer... I've been abroad :( )

Yep...it's all about how you experience it. A friend and I went to a RAW taping, and it was a good time. Good seats, not too many annoying signs right in front of us, good atmosphere, hot crowd. Mind you, the show itself was crappy beyond belief (My friend, the Austin mark, disagreed, what with the Austin/Goldberg meeting highlighting the show), with no real matches and only a Heat main event of Jericho/Hurricane to entertain me. Still, lots of stuff to yell randomly about. If you're going with friends, you'll enjoy yourself.

And, since it's a RAW PPV...well, if the draft is seriously happening before then, just build a giant olympic gold medal, if the rumours come true. Because that's all that will matter.

Well with Hardy coming in Daniels and Styles coming back and people like James Gibson and Spanky already added to the roster this summer would be the perfect time to get back to a show. :D

Jimmy Jacobs acknowledging the "YOU BEAT EDDIE" chants was also great.
